The International Lawyers Club UK convened a Peace Conference on Monday, 28 April 2025, aimed at promoting peace between India and Pakistan and easing tensions arising from the recent Pahalgam incident in Jammu & Kashmir.
The conference brought together legal professionals, community representatives, and peace advocates to emphasize dialogue, restraint, and the importance of peaceful coexistence in South Asia. Participants reflected on the human cost of conflict and reaffirmed the shared responsibility to work toward stability and harmony in the region.
The event concluded with a candle-lighting ceremony, symbolizing hope, compassion, and a collective commitment to peace in South Asia and across the world.
