The International Lawyers Club UK (ILCUK) hosted a high-level meeting and dinner at Iman Restaurant, Ilford, in honour of distinguished legal personalities including Rana Intezar Hussain Advocate, former President Lahore Bar Association and Member Punjab Bar Council, and Ch Asim Iqbal Deo Advocate, former President Sialkot Bar Association, along with other respected members of the legal fraternity.
During the meeting, Barrister Imran Panawala, Chairman ILCUK, and Barrister Mushtaq Choudhary, General Secretary, formally announced the appointment of Rana Intezar Hussain Advocate as Head of the ILCUK Punjab (Pakistan) Chapter. The discussion focused on the Rule of Law, independence of the judiciary in Pakistan, and strengthening coordination between legal professionals in the UK and Pakistan, including international legal perspectives on the Indus Water Treaty.
The event featured contributions from senior legal professionals and concluded with a vote of thanks by the General Secretary, followed by dinner. The gathering reflected ILCUK’s continued commitment to legal collaboration, judicial independence, and professional welfare across borders.
