Delegation of International Lawyers Club Visits Key UK Legal and Diplomatic Institutions

A high-level delegation of the International Lawyers Club, comprising Chairman Imran Panaawala, Founding Chairman Rizwan Sulehria, and Advisor to the Chairman Moazzam Ali Sandhu, paid an official visit to several prominent legal and diplomatic institutions in the United Kingdom, accompanied by the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan.

The delegation first visited the Supreme Court of England and Wales, followed by a visit to the Pakistan High Commission in London, where they met with H.E. Dr. Muhammad Faisal, High Commissioner of Pakistan. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the current political situation in Pakistan and the breach of the Indus Waters Treaty by India, highlighting legal, diplomatic, and international implications.

Subsequently, a luncheon was graciously hosted by the Chairman of the International Lawyers Club UK, Mr. Imran Panaawala, at Lincoln’s Inn, providing an opportunity for further dialogue and professional engagement.

The delegation also visited the Royal Courts of Justice and the Law Society of England and Wales, reinforcing the Club’s commitment to fostering international legal cooperation, dialogue on rule of law, and strengthening ties between legal institutions in Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
