Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar Addresses British-Pakistani Lawyers on the Indus Waters Treaty in London

On 15 August 2025, a high-level gathering was held at the Pakistan High Commission in London where Deputy Prime Minister Senator Ishaq Dar addressed distinguished British-Pakistani lawyers regarding Pakistan’s position on the Indus Waters Treaty and regional peace.

Hosted by His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Faisal, High Commissioner of Pakistan to the UK, alongside Barrister Amjad Malik, the event provided an important platform for legal and diplomatic dialogue on water rights and international obligations. During his address, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to safeguarding its rights under the Indus Waters Treaty while emphasizing peace, stability, and responsible diplomacy.
